At the breast surgeons annual meeting in Phoenix last Friday an interesting study compared the ability of mammograms  to detect breast cancer versus the ability of thermograms to detect breast cancer.

Approximately half of the biopsy proven breast cancers were not detected on the thermogram. Although Mammography remains the gold standard of care in detecting breast cancer, if you or someone you know has thermograms instead of mammograms and have dense breast tissue an automated screening ultrasound is a better alternative. http://sonocine.com/
